About Us
RuralLink is a joint venture between WaikatoLink (University of Waikato's technology transfer and commercialisation office) and rural IT provider Rezare Systems which leverages the telecommunications capabilities of the WAND group. The University of Waikato's WAND networking group have been building rural community networks using this technology since 2002.
The WAND group is a research group in the Computer Science Department at the University of Waikato.
